Seeded third at the Estoril Open 2011, made a phenomenal comeback Klara Zakopalova of their third quarter-final appearance this season to register. The Russian defeat Belarusian Anastasiya Yakimova 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 on Wednesday to reach the last eight of the ATP 250 series tournament.

Zakopalova has started in decent shape since 2011. She reached the semifinals in her first tournament of the season, defeating top-seeded Marion Bartoli in Auckland in the quarterfinals. Their good run on the tour continues to the 2011 Qatar Ladies and openly when they top-seeded players excited to have a place in the round of eight-to book. A little over a week ago, she made another appearance at the 2011 Marbella Open quarterfinals. Zakopalova seemed to have worn a lot of confidence from her consistent performances on the tour, as they bid for a third WTA victory of her career.

Zakopalova started the second set on a bad note, as well as they suffered a break fee in the third game of the group. But from then on, the Russian banded and showed amazing fighting skills to make a double bonus break. She held her serve games to play in a play-off place.
